Marta Kozak-Maśnicka

Marta is a researcher at the Centre for Research on the Law of Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the University of Warsaw and a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. In her PhD thesis, she analyses the law protecting whistleblowers in Poland in the context of the EU Directive 1937/2019. Marta is the manager of the research project titled “Legal situation of the whistleblower in Polish labor law”, granted by the National Science Center of Poland. This project aims to answer the research question of how the Polish whistleblower protection model should be designed in light of international standards, the Polish socio-cultural context and the experience of other states. Marta is also a country editor at Whistleblowing Monitor, where she publishes news about whistleblowing law in Poland. In a recent publication, she wrote about the current status of the transposition of whistleblowing law in Poland in an article titled "Implementation of the EU Whistleblower Directive in Poland”. Marta also has experience as a labor law lawyer.
