Sarah Bandini

Fellow

Sarah is a dual-qualified attorney admitted to the Italian Bar and the New York State Bar, specializing in white-collar crime and corporate liability. She holds a Ph.D. in Legal Studies from the University of Bologna, Italy, with a focus on corporate governance and compliance. She conducted part of her research as a visiting scholar at Duke University School of Law and the University of London’s Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. In 2023, she earned a Master of Law from NYU School of Law, where she was awarded the Hauser Global Scholarship and the International Finance and Development Student Fellowship. 

She is currently collaborating with the Financial Integrity Division of the International Monetary Fund on a project investigating the macroeconomic impacts of corporate criminal liability. Additionally, she serves as a Foreign Law Consultant for the Library of Congress, conducting comparative research and policy analysis for the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. Sarah is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and a fellow of the University of London’s Society for Advanced Legal Studies. In September 2023, she was recognized as one of the most promising Italian professionals under 35 in the legal sector by the international talent network Nova.
